Question: What do you get when you add a breathtakingly gorgeous bride, a dashingly handsome groom, an incredible bridal party, guests from all corners of the globe, an amazing live music band and the festive season?
Answer: The Wedding of the Year!
Going out with a bang! The last wedding for 2022 was the perfect party to end the year!
Leigh & Dries celebrated in style at Zest Point Piper with their nearest and dearest including his family who flew in from Belgium. Such a joyous occasion filled with love, fun and tears of joy.
The couple had a First Look and their portraits before the ceremony. So perfect for maintaining the tempo and excitement after their wedding vows to lead into mingling and canapes. They opted for a traditional Jewish ceremony conducted by the lovely Nina from Your Best Day. Under the Chuppah, the bride circled the groom 7 times as a symbol of creating a magical wall of protection around their marriage, a blessing from their parents followed by sharing of wine and finally breaking of the glass at the end of the ceremony.
At their reception downstairs, Belgian beers flowed, Glassbreakers kept the dancefloor filled all night and there was the odd bit of dancing! These two know how to have a good time.
(And it was a pant-splitting good time!)
Congrats Leigh & Dries - Mazel Tov!
